Ratiba sought to obtain a loan to start her dream of opening a seamstress shop, a skill she is very good at, in hopes of developing herself through it.
In 2009, after consulting her husband, she took the first loan of 400 JD’s, and opened a shop. Followed by the second loan of 250 JD’s, and the third for 250 JD‘s, her project developed with new machinery and a higher number of employees. Production levels increased, income increased, and the economic situation improved.
Her family could now afford private medical care and her children went to private schools now.
She states: “I am now participating with my husband in the decision-making process in my house. An air of happiness and joy prevails in the house, our hopes and dreams have come true, and my ambition now is to enlarge the small workshop into a large one.”
Ratiba continues: “After receiving the City Group award in 2009, I believe this was all from God and from Tamweelcom, which extended its arms throughout the cities of the Kingdom, planting hope into those who are ambitious to realize their dreams. I thank them and wish them continuous success and excellence.”
