Maram Amayreh

From the threshing grounds of Bayadir Wadi Essir comes another success story:  Maram Amayreh.

Like many women in Jordan, she feels the weight of difficult life and the tough economic circumstances burdening her husband.  She feels bad for not being able to be an economically productive person, when there is an urgent need for another source of income for the household, to provide her family with a respectable and better quality of life.

It used to be that whenever she received a present, especially a box of chocolate during holidays and religious occasions; she would repackage it ornamentally and resell it.  As a matter of fact, she used to wait for such occasions for this very reason.

In 2012. Hope came with the first loan of 500 JD’s.  She bought the chocolate packaging and ornamenting materials, and work started and the dream became a reality. Maram built a reputation in Bayadir Wadi Essir.  Her name became well-known in her field of work, and with that came the second loan of 600 JD’s.  The situation improved, reflecting on the household's economic situation.  Slowly and gradually, she replaced the household furniture and fixtures.

"With Tamweelcom, I can do what I could not do with others," says Maram. She adds: “I look forward to opening a large store in the Bayadir area to sell chocolates, thanks to Tamweelcom and its honest work with aspiring members of society, who want to see their hopes come true."
