Areej Attari

Areej dedicated herself to knowledge and education, and did not marry until she was 40 years old. She obtained a pharmacy degree, but due to a disability, she could not work as a pharmacist. She tried to work anywhere and to do anything, but all roads were closed.

Areej chose life, and to dream and continue to dream of achieving her aspirations despite her disability. She started to practice a hobby she had since childhood, painting on glass and wax.

She discovered Tamweelcom through bazaars and popular markets, and decided to take off and kick-start her new profession alongside Tamweelcom.

She obtained her first loan of 300 JD’s and bought some raw materials. She now produces candle products and sells and markets them in Tamweelcom bazaars and exhibitions, where she is able to support herself.

Areej states: "My ambition is to continue this journey with Tamweelcom and to eventually open a large shop in a modern neighborhood.  I thank God for bringing Tamweelcom by my path, which extended a helping hand to an ordinary citizen with hopes, ambitions and dreams.”
