SANAD SERVICE

In the purpose of providing better services to clients alongside with financial products and services, Tamweelcom developed “SANAD- Insurance Product” as an insurance service for the active clients, their spouse and dependents (from 1 month to 21 years old) whose financing value is not more than 10,000 JOD.

SANAD service is provided upon the clients request and includes a compensation for the client with breakage-and-damage hospitalization allowance for loosing income due to his/her stay in hospital or in case any insured family member stays in hospital for at least one night, or benefit of compensation in case of his/her death” God forbid”.

Service features:

  • Insurance coverage begins by the contract signed date until the due date of the last instalment to the maximum 90 days and in accordance to the service’s terms and conditions. (in case of stop paying the service will be stopped after maximun of 90 days)
  • The service covers 15 JOD per night of inpatient compensation, for staying in a must be Ministry of Health private or public hospitals in the kingdom or the Jordanian Royal Medical Services Hospitals.
  • Coverage of up to 24 continuous inpatient nights.
  • Coverage of up to 36 nights per insurance year. The maximum coverage for loans over 12 months is calculated by three nights per month of loan cycle for the beneficiary and for each insured dependent. However, the beneficiaries can benefit from the maximum coverage at any time during the insurance period.
  • All active clients up to 65 years old with finances are no more than 10,000 JOD, as well their dependents up to 21 years old and spouse up to 70 years old.
  • It is allowed to cover only one spouse.
  • There is no exception to chronic diseases or cases.
  • In case of client death, the insurance company pays the outstanding loan amount as in the death date including interest fees and any other penalties for the Jordan Microfinance Company (Tamweelcom), in addition to 1,600 JOD cheque disbursed to the legitimate heirs.
  • In case of the spouse’s death (no more than 70 years old), a 750 JOD will be disbursed to the client.
  • Insurance service fees are paid on a monthly basis except for the first instalment which is deducted from the loan value.

Targeted AudienceNew/renewed retail clients to granted loans after service lunching up to 10,000 JOD except the following financing products (i.e., Dual financing, Tawasol loan, Express-Business loan and Revolving loan utilizations).
Beneficiary

Supporter client: Married client who has children in the age group of one month to 21 years registered in the family book “unmarried”

Non-supporter client: Single, widowed, divorced and has no dependent children in the age group of one month to 21 years.

Service fees (JOD)

1.5 JOD for the non-supporter client.

2.5 JOD for the supporter client.

Due Date

On monthly basis with the loan monthly installment and according to the client’s payment schedule, except for the first instalment which is deducted from the loan value.

Required Documents
A copy of wife and children’s pages in the family book, or any official document that proves the names of the spouse and children.

Documents required in the case of death:

  1. Certified copy of the National ID and Certified copy of Family Governmental Book.
  2. Official and certified death certificate.
  3. Original copy of a certified doctor’s report outlining the cause of death.
  4. Detailed toll report in case of death caused by a car accident.
  5. Any other related reports requested by the insurance company.

Provide the required documents to any of Tamweelcom branches within a period not exceeding 90 days from the date of death.

Documents required in case of a claim for hospitalization:

  1. Official medical report by a legal licensed doctor showing the date of entry and exit, sealed by the hospital and the doctor and issued by Hakeem system of a hospital covered in the program.
  2. An official birth certificate of the insured client (i.e., National ID/Passport for non-Jordanian).
  3. Any other requirements requested by the insurance company.

Provide the required documents to any of Tamweelcom branches within a period not exceeding 30 days from the date of leaving the hospital.
