Suhair lived with her husband and two children in Jabal Al-Hussein, and is skilled in embroidery and crochet work. She approached Tamweelcom in 2009 looking for financing to help her home-based project kick-start.
She started with a first loan of 300 JD’s, where she bought the materials and equipment she needed. Her work developed and prospered by creating new designs, and she participated in many Tamweelcom bazaars and exhibitions. Later on she obtained two loans for 800 JD’s, and for 100 JD’s.
She says: "My financial situation improved and my work became my main source of income. I helped my husband in paying the expenses of our son's marriage, and sending the other one to school. I participate today in the household expenses, and participate in a life insurance program for me and my family. Without Tamweelcom, none of this would have happened, and I am forever grateful for both their financial and non-financial support, and wish them all the best.”
