Amidst shelves loaded with chips and biscuits over rising towers of salt packs, sugar and near a refrigerator that serves local types of ice-cream, sits Hisham Al-Masharfeh behind a small desk in this grocery store that he started in cooperation with Tamweelcom.

The store is part of Al-Masharfeh's home in the city of Madaba near an agricultural road. He benefited from Tamweelcom's program to support small enterprises and entrepreneurs.

Al-Masharfeh says that he decided to enter the labor market after successfully passing the Tawjihi Exam.  He got a loan of 800 JD’s for his already existing project in order to develop it.  The store's shelves were made of wood, but with the loan that he got, he changed them into metal shelves. He also increased the number of the shelves as the work developed and grew.

Al-Masharfeh explains that he found out about Tamweelcom when he was searching for a loan with conditions and rates that match his economic and financial situation.

He states: “With Tamweelcom, I found the perfect package to help me start my own small business in order to support my family. I keep trying to improve it, time after time and if I ever need anything, Tamweelcom will be the place to turn to. They have never failed me and I am sincerely grateful that I came across them.”
