Tamweelcom and The Ministry of Tourism and Antiques sign a Memorandum of Understanding


In its effort to support small and micro-entrepreneurship, the Jordan Microcredit Company “Tamweelcom” and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiques memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiques with the presence of the Ministry representative Secretary General, Mr. IssaQamwa and Tamweelcom’s CEO Mr. Ali Abd Al-Jabbar.

The agreement aims to support the Tamweelcom’s micro-entrepreneurs, business owners, productive-poor, people on low-income, as well as entrepreneurs by organizing bazaars across the kingdom according to a well-organized plan in the tourist attractions to market their products and generate financial outcome to push the wheel of economy and alleviate poverty.

Secretary General of the Ministry, Mr. Issa Qamwa commented “this agreement comes in line with the programs that aims to raise awareness of tourism in Jordan, to increase the number of tourists visiting and enhance economic and employment opportunities, in addition to promoting traditional and handicraft industries which reflect our Jordanian and Arabic heritage”.

Tamweelcom’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ali Jabbar said: “This agreement is a continuous fulfillment to Tamweelcom approach to support micro-entrepreneurs and help them to market their products, as it is vital for us to support our clients through providing various marketing channels which facilitate selling their products”.
