Tamweelcom and the Family Healthcare Institute are Organizing a Health Day in Karak

Jordan Microfinance Company (Tamweelcom) in cooperation with the Family Healthcare Institute, both referring to Nour Al-Hussain Foundation provided medical services for around 500 persons in Karak / Mu’ab District through a free medical day.
The health day was organized at Al-Hussainiya Secondary Girls School to include general medicine clinic, gynecology clinic, ophthalmology, pediatrics, psychiatry and physical therapy, optical testing and glasses, ears testing, blood pressure testing, blood glucose testing and hemoglobin testing, in addition to providing health instructions and breast cancer examination. The doctors provided 50 glasses for patients after undergoing optical testing at the ophthalmology clinic during campaign. The integrated healthcare project was activated in the health day by providing educational sessions for raising awareness of the mother and child health provided by the institute team. The health day included specific activities for children including sessions for raising awareness and giving them gifts. 
Tamweelcom and the Family Healthcare Institute organized the event in cooperation with the National Women Healthcare Center, Jordanian Osteoporosis Prevention Society, Alpha Optics, volunteering physicians, Mu’ab Municipality, Mu’ab District and Youth Commission headquarters We are all Jordan. 
Executive Director Mr. Ali Abdel Jabbar said that the day was one of the most important comprehensive social services provided for people in the local community as they widen inclusion for the least fortunate individuals in the various medical services.
It is worth mentioning that Tamweelcom is one of the leading non-profit companies in the microfinance sector, providing the necessary funding for the productive individuals and unfunded individuals while guaranteeing financial inclusion through preparing and providing various funding programs, services and products for supporting needs and it is owned by Nour Al-Hussain Foundation working under the umbrella of King Hussein Foundation and was established in 1999.
The Family Healthcare Institute is one of the regional centers providing inclusive healthcare services for families, training specialists in domestic healthcare, child protection, rehabilitation of violence and torture survivors. The Institute has 18 clinics distributed in Amman and other governorates along with the Syrian Refugees Camps for providing different services.
